One of my student's just asked me if I knew that God was a woman. It made my skin crawl.
And while I'm on the religious beat I am going to add that several of my students told me this morning that they attended a church this weekend called The Edge. Naturally I wonder why is it called The Edge? Is it called that because the church is edgy? or is it because the church is one the edge of actually being religious.
