The week of November 24th to the 28th was the best week that I've experienced in awhile. Not only did it include family, food, and a birthday but also the birth of another little Gile girl. Let me break down the week for you. Monday- 22 short years ago there came a little blessing into the lives of Carl and Cathy and their other 5 children. Well on this day 22 years later came another bundle of joy to Curtis and Marcy.
She couldn't wait any longer and came 5 weeks early. She's healthy just a little small, something her birthday buddy never was/is. Tuesday- the last day of classes for the week. After classes got out I made like a baby and headed out first to Topeka to spend the rest of the week with the family and see my new birthday buddy, Sophia. Cassi, unfortunately had to work after classes so the sucka had to come up later. 
Wednesday- Spent with the Gile family that lives on Dorr St. Traveled to KC, did a little shopping, got lost. All in a days work. Thursday- Turkey Day! Hung Christmas lights, played cards, and of course ate. This day was good too because Curtis and Marcy got to hold Sophia for the first time and the 3 youngest clowns went and witnessed it with the parentals.
That evening we left the babies with the parentals- they're amazing grandparents by the way, and headed to see Vince Vaughn and Reese Witherspoon on the big screen. Unfortunately Crystal was MIA because she being the LAW in Salina, so it wasn't all of the fab 7 and a couple significant others but pretty close. Friday- Sadly, I had to work Thursday night so missed out but came back to Emporia and finished out my Thanksgiving. Friday morning while still at work I smashed the poop out of my middle finger and still have the bruise to show on my nail and halfway down my finger. It was a pretty stand up week and I can't believe the Christmas is right around the corner!
