Marianne, Cassi, and I outside the aquarium...it was bright outside
View from Sears's Tower. The triangle building in the right corner is a jail. There were guys on the roof in orange jumpsuits...nuts!

We liked the children's area of the Art Institute the best!
I like to imitate statues. Not sure who this is...
Cassi and her boyfriends at the Art Institute of Chicago. Where she "supposedly" saw Colin Firth.
Cassi and my reflection in the Bean. We're such the tourists!

The BEAN in Millennium Park. Not it's actual name, but that's what I call it.
Reppin our state!

We saw Cassi's 8th Grade SFA teacher at Bubba Gump Shrimp...weird!

Cass on the Giant Wheel

Cass on the Giant Wheel
World's Largest Ferris Wheel-It goes REALLY slow

Me lookin like a dork outside Navy Pier
They had these crazy mirrors on the Pier and of course we had to take pictures. We look like the people on Little People, Big World. One of my favorite shows.
Being ourselves on the train

These aren't all our pictures from the Windy City, but just a sample. We had a good time, however, like Cassi said in her previous post, we're not big city people. It was really fun to be tourist and get lost and have to find our way around. We didn't get to see Wrigley Field or US Cellular Field but we did see lots of things that a lil Kansas girl had only seen in movies or TV. It was great to meet up with Marianne and laugh and take pictures. Overall, spring break was a great break from the daily grind.
Our first picture in the big city!
The building in the distance says Chicago Sun Times- If you've ever seen Never Been Kissed, you know why I had to get a picture of this building!
Cassi making her way to Union Station after getting off the 10hr train ride!
Someone had spring Oreo's on the train....smart people!
